BLAKE MIGUEZ
President & CEO
Blake is a graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia and shortly there after he attended college at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he received a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Blake’s education in the Offshore Marine Transportation business has been a lifelong course of study fostered by his father, Steve, and his grandfather, J.O. Neuville (founder of Neuville Boat Works). Throughout his education, Blake worked at the family business doing any jobs that could prepare him for his future in the company. Being aware of the increased regulations in the oilfield and being faced with continuous complex legal issues, Steve encouraged his son to go to law school so he could aide the family business in the years to come. Blake took his father’s advice by graduating from Southern University Law Center and shortly there after becoming licensed in the State of Louisiana. Blake is also admitted to practice in Eastern, Middle and Western District Courts of Louisiana and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Today, Blake serves as President/CEO of SeaTran Marine, LLC. He is also a member of the Offshore Marine Service Association as well as the National Ocean Industries Association.
The marine transportation business is but one dimension of Blake. Throughout his life and in his spare time he competes professionally in handgun shooting competitions. Among the copious amounts of 1st place ribbons, trophies, and plaques Blake has earned over the years his talents have culminated in being awarded both a World and US National Champion title. Because of Blake's talent and high competitive rank both nationally and internationally, he was chosen in 2010 to compete on the debut season of the reoccurring History Channel reality show, Top Shot. Since then, Blake has returned to the show as a handgun expert on follow up seasons and made multiple appearance on different networks which cover outdoor shooting events.
