Mitzi Alario is a native of New Orleans, LA with strong ties to the coastal bayou regions of the state. After completing a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dominican College/Loyola, Ms. Alario began work at Alario & Associates (a marine consultancy firm) thereby developing and building key relationships in the offshore marine industry while primarily focused on financial operations of marine companies and federal programs (CCF/Title XI) administered thru the U.S. Maritime Administration.

While remaining active with the consultancy firm, Ms. Alario became Administrative/Finance Manager and Special Events Coordinator for the Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA), a non-profit marine trade organization which monitored USCG Coast Guard and Federal Regulations and operational issues related to the offshore marine industry. With a desire to focus primarily on sales and marketing, Ms. Alario joined Petroleum Helicopters (PHI), a premier provider of offshore aviation transportation (via helicopter services) where she was trained in the logistics portion of the industry and expanded her client base from boat operators and their service companies to oil companies and their related vendors.

Ms. Alario, later decided to return to the vessel transportation segment of the industry and has worked as V.P. of Business Development and as V.P. Domestic Sales/Western Division for two separate marine transportation companies which operated crew and supply vessels. Armed with a unique combination of experience and broad range of skills, Ms. Alario joined Iberia Marine Service in April 2012 to assist in developing effective strategies for marketing, expanding the client base by identifying new opportunities and master time charters, and developing investor partnerships to expand the fleet more quickly. In September 2014, a new company, SeaTran Marine, LLC was formed (incorporating Iberia Marine Service, Comar Marine and Texas Crewboats) to better serve client needs and quickly address the deepwater market sector of the industry. SeaTran’s focus, with over 28 vessels in its fleet, is to lead the industry while exceeding “standards”, provide high quality vessels, well trained crews and exceptional service to its clients!
